An open
letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden
The Ministry
for Foreign Affairs, Mr Carl Bildt
You are
undoubtedly
aware of
grave humanitarian crisis induced by brutal acts of Syrian government.
Massive human right violations, massacre of more than ten thousands
innocent civilians, destruction of many cities and districts, made some
European nations like France, Germany and England to expel Syrian
diplomats. It was the least protest; they performed after numerous
evident crimes of Syrian government. However, Ministry of Foreign Affair
of Sweden continues to witness all inhuman brutality in silence without
any reaction even expelling Syrian diplomats.
Hereby, we as
an organization concerned with children's right, urge your government to
take immediate steps towards addressing your humanistic tasks regarding
all innocent people are getting killed in Syria and join the protesting
countries. It is a moral obligation and humanistic task of Swedish
government to react appropriately regarding tragedy of killing children
as well as the children in need as the least action you can take.
We along with
the international community expect your immediate action against Syrian
government. The Syrian representatives should be expelled of all
international communities. The Islamic Republic of Iran who gives
enormous support to Bashar Assad’s government and directly involves in
suppressing Syrian protests should be condemned by Swedish government.
We expect you to support Syrian and Iranian people in their protest
against these governments.
